Chandaria Industries and WWF Kenya: Partnership for Kenya's Conservation

For over 55 years, Chandaria Industries has championed both Kenya and the environment. Since our inception we have used recycled paper to make products that Kenyan families know and love. Today, as Kenya’s largest recycler of paper waste, we at Chandaria Industries renew our commitment to Kenya’s natural beauty by partnering with WWF Kenya. Together we look to protect Kenya’s forests and wildlife with an inspiring campaign and need you to help.

Access to clean air and water are essential for the development of communities around the world. In Kenya these two conditions are threatened by deforestation and pollution. The #KeepKenyaBreathingCampaign, established by the WWF Kenya in 2016, looks to protect Kenya’s delicate forest and waterways in order to preserve their natural beauty and their benefits, such as clean air and potable water, to surrounding areas and people. One of the best ways to aid in this protection is to ensure that the trees are left to grow as nature intended and that the least amount of water is syphoned to sustain growth and development of the adjacent areas.

By recycling paper waste, gathered from private and commercial industries across Kenya, and employing the most modern techniques to reuse water used in the manufacturing process Chandaria Industries is doing its part from a commercial perspective and are creating opportunities for consumers to join forces and protect Kenya’s amazing landscapes.

Our flagship brand - Velvex and one of our best-selling brands - Rosy are now teaming up with the WWF Kenya. Both brands under the toilet tissue category are now offering special packs with the #KeepKenyaBreathing campaign logo. A portion of each purchase on marked packs will go directly to WWF Kenya in support of our combined efforts towards Kenya's conservation.  Find these packs today at select retail outlets and join Chandaria Industries and WWF Kenya in our efforts to #KeepKenyaBreathing.
