De-Inking
It is anticipated that demand for waste paper will grow at a
rate double that of virgin over the next years. Natural market
forces and the possible legislation will estimate recycling
rates by increasing recovery and utilization of waste paper.
The present lack of recycling capacity in the paper industry
is likely in short term, to create situations of oversupply
and deterioration of raw material quality. New recycling capacity
in handling all types of waste paper including street waste
i.e. de-inking and dispersing units is vital to ensure the success
of the industry.
The success of the waste paper industry will depend on three
main factors.
They are: a market for end-use for material and creating consumer's
awareness on recycled product demand improved technology to
clean and process the material an efficient, economic collection
